2015 Package Bees - time to order

It's that time of year again when you need to order package bees.
Here is the information - you can certainly call us during business
hours if you have any questions or would like to place an order.

We appreciate your business.

2015 Package Bees

3-lb packages of Honey Bees w/Queen will be available for pickup:

The week of April 8-11 – 9:00 – 5:00      

The week of April 22-25 – 9:00 – 5:00

It is almost impossible to pinpoint the exact date at this time.

We will know when we receive a phone call that the bees have left California.

Please let us know if you would prefer the first or second delivery. 

 $110.00 each, for 10 or more - $107.00 each

Queens - Carniolan or Italian - $30 each.

We will have Carniolan and Italian bees available. You may specify and we will do our best, but there is no guarantee.  Your order for bees will be reserved ONLY when a 50% deposit for each package is received.  We welcome Cash, Check, VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.

Place your order as soon as possible.  You will be notified prior to the day of pickup.  We must have a valid phone number and/or an e-mail address so we can contact you quickly.  Packages will be available for pick-up only.  We do not ship bees.

A full line of supplies is available, but orders must be received before package day.  Please do not come to pick up bees and expect your order to be put together. 

Now is the time to check if bees have enough honey stores.  Lift colony for weight – if too light, use sugar on newspaper, fondant or a candy board.  Do not use sugar syrup till spring.

For those of you who have not been to our store before, we have limited parking in front of the building.  Please park only where the signs say “Parking for Valhalla Bee Farm Honey, Lace and More Only”.  There is plenty of parking on the street.
